Now you can listen to the problem-plagued musical Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark (click at bottom) and make your own decision, which resumed performances May 12 at Broadway’s Foxwoods Theatre, can do so by visiting MSN.com (click link at bottom). “Music from Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark,” which will be released on Interscope Records June 14, the day of the musical’s official opening, is also currently available for pre-order for $9.99. Featuring 14 new tracks, the recording was produced by frequent U2 collaborator Steve Lillywhite. Songs are performed by the musical’s cast, including Reeve Carney in the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Jennifer Damiano in the role of Mary Jane, T.V. Carpio as Arachne and Patrick Page as the Green Goblin, with contributions from Bono and The Edge and music performed by the production’s 20-member strong orchestra.
